Speak To Us Say Land Campaigners (from Wimbledon Guardian) Wimbledon Guardian 19th January 2006 Campaigners concerned about the future of the controversial Atkinson Morley's Hospital site have called on future developers to work with them. People living near the controversial site off Copse Hill, Wimbledon, may have to wait until April to hear the name of the developer which has won the bid for the site. |
Battle Wages For Hospital Grounds (from Wimbledon Guardian) Wimbledon Guardian 2nd February 2006 The Hall School, a local private school which bid for the Atkinson Morley's Hospital site on Copse Hill, has now been told the bid was too low compared to the property developer's.

Copper or Purple beech tree (Fagus purpurea) located west of the AMH
main building on Copse Hill wins second prize in the 2005 annual
competition run by Merton Tree Wardens Group
to encourage residents of Merton the
nominate their Favourite Tree. The project is part of a Local
Biodiversity Action Plan for the borough & the judging panel was a group
of tree wardens together with the council's 3 tree officers. |
