In addition to the Footpath Walk, the LUNG Committee has organised a number of social events. These provide an opportunity for members of the community to become more acquainted with the site through guided walks and other activities, as well as learning about development plans through displays, presentations and discussions. And of course these events are a great way to meet neighbours and have fun!

Easter Event
Despite many people being away for the holidays, around 80 adults and 40 children attended the Easter event in the afternoon of Sunday 13th April 2003. The weather was perfect for activities that included an egg-hunt with the Easter Bunny, a guided walk round the site, and an adult quiz.  The Scout HQ hosted a hat competition, egg-painting, egg-and-spoon races and pancake races, with prizes and refreshments. There was also a wall display of the latest proposals published by St. George's Healthcare Trust. Click here for photos.

Mr. Atkinson Morley's Victorian Fair
Around 2000 adults and children attended a very successful event with a wide variety of traditional entertainments in an idyllic setting. Click here to read more about it and see the photos.

Keep yourself informed about future plans for the site, and there are many ways you can have your say and  GET INVOLVED!
